Novak Djokovic has insisted that Andy Murray deserves to be mentioned in the same group as Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and himself.
The Scot finally ended his wait for his first Grand Slam title after beating the Serb in an epic five-set match to win the US Open.
The four have claimed 29 of the last 30 Grand Slam titles, and Djokovic says that they are doing special things for the sport.
"Us four, we are taking this game to another level," Djokovic said. "It's really nice to be part of such a strong men's tennis era.
"There's no doubt he deserves to win a Grand Slam, playing so consistently well and winning against the top players for many times on many surfaces.
"He has proven today that he's a champ and he deserves to be where he is, no question about it."
The Serb is current ranked number two in the world behind Roger Federer.
