The world of sport and entertainment pay tribute to Andy Murray, following his thrilling win at the US Open.

British number one Andy Murray finally ended his - and Great Britain's - long wait for a Grand Slam earlier this morning.

He was crowned US Open champion following a 7-6 7-5 2-6 3-6 6-2 win over world number two Novak Djokovic.
