Australian snowboarder Scott James has revealed that he hurt his "man parts really bad" during Thursday's qualifying at the Winter Olympics.
The 19-year-old, who took a tumble coming off a jump on the first run, finished 11th out of 15 competitors in his slopestyle heat and will have to secure a top-four spot in Saturday's elimination round to make it to the 12-man final later that day.
"I had a little slam in my first run," the Sydney Morning Herald quotes him as saying. "It's a bit unfortunate but I'm looking forward to Saturday, keeping in a positive frame of mind.
"I was a little bit embarrassed, I wasn't going to tell anyone, but I hurt my man parts really bad."
James will also participate in the men's half-pipe.
