American skier Lindsey Vonn has suffered another crash in training as she attempts to return to competitive action.
The 29-year-old, who has not raced since tearing knee ligaments during the World Championships in February, tumbled during a training run at Copper Mountain, Colorado.
A statement on Usskiteam.com read: "Olympic and World Champion Lindsey Vonn (Vail, CO) crashed Tuesday morning while downhill training on the US Ski Team Speed Center at Copper Mountain.
"She was not admitted to the hospital but was undergoing further evaluation, as is typical after a crash."
If examinations reveal a serious injury then Vonn's chances of competing at the Sochi Winter Olympics in February could be in doubt.
