The Atlanta Falcons have a narrow 13-10 lead over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at half time in their all-NFC South clash in the NFL this evening.
After a quiet start to the game, rookie kicker Patrick Murray opened the scoring with a short field goal shortly before the end of the first quarter.
Atlanta were ahead at the start of the second, though, when Steven Jackson powered into the endzone from just a yard out.
Matt Ryan tried to find Harry Douglas for another score shortly after, but the wide receiver could not hold onto the ball, forcing Matt Bryant to kick.
The home side did get back on level terms just before the end of the second quarter, though, when rookie receiver Mike Evans hauled the ball in.
However, Bryant had the chance to add another field goal in the final seconds of the half, and managed to split the uprights to edge Atlanta back in front.
