Joe Flacco has said that he is not expecting any problems while negotiating his new contract with the Baltimore Ravens.
The Super Bowl MVP is coming to the end of the current deal with the Ravens, with the franchise having already confirmed that they will be offering the quarterback a new contract.
The 28-year-old told NFL Network: "[Ravens owner] Steve Bisciotti told me that if this happens, I could go pound on his desk and really stick it to him. And that's exactly what I'm going to do.
"Listen, I haven't thought about that all year, but the year is over now. I love being [in Baltimore], great city, so I don't really anticipate any problems."
It has been reported that Flacco will be aiming for an annual salary of $20m (£12.7m) as part of his new contract.
