Chicago Bears defensive tackle Henry Melton has admitted that he is not sure whether he will remain at the club for the 2014 season, but would like to if given the chance.
Melton, whose Bears side have exclusive rights to negotiate with him until March 8, said that talks have gone well with Chicago but that he has not yet been offered a new deal.
"I honestly have no clue," Melton told the Chicago Tribune. "I've had positive conversations. It's kind of like the draft. You have positive conversations with a lot of teams. They like you but you're definitely not sure until it happens.
"All the coaches have said some real positive things. I am just waiting to see what is going to happen. I'm all for staying here."
Melton was drafted in 2010, but injury restricted him to only three appearances in 2013.
