Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has insisted that he wants a faster turnaround between plays from his side in the 2013 season.
Although the Broncos had the fourth-highest amount of offensive plays last season with 1,090, Peyton wants Broncos up with the New England Patriot's 1,191 in 2013.
"We can play faster," Manning told the Denver Post. "I think we averaged something like 68 plays per game last season. I think New England was No. 1 in the league with 75 plays per game.
"For whatever reason, our offence plays better the faster we go. I think that was clear cut last season. The receivers liked it; they got into a rhythm.
"Anything we can do as an offence to build off that, anything we can do to make us more efficient as an offence, that's what we're looking to do."
Manning threw his second-highest career percentage during his debut Broncos season with 68.6%.
