Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson is confident that his ankle injury will continue to improve this week.
The 29-year-old was limited in his side's victory over the New York Jets on Sunday as he caught just two passes for 12 yards while struggling with the problem.
"Went out there. It was tough but I figured from moving around [on Saturday] that I'd be able to get on the field a little bit," Johnson told reporters.
"It's good to be out there with the fellas. It sucks to be on the sideline and not be able to play at all. It sucks to have injuries, too, but that's just part of the game."
Johnson has recorded 21 receptions for 341 yards and two touchdowns this season.
