Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Mike Daniels has insisted that he will become a leader on the team's defense in the 2014 season.
The Packers lost to the San Francisco 49ers in the playoffs this season, and despite Daniels taking some time to recover he said that there will be nothing stopping him from impressing next year.
"I am not afraid to step up as a leader now," he told Jsonline.com. "I'm in my third year, I've made some plays.
"I've earned some respect in the locker room. I feel as though it's time for me to fully let my personality go. Just be myself. There's nothing holding me back now."
Daniels was drafted by the Packers in 2012.
