Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator Norv Turner has admitted that the team are looking to bring in a more youthful quarterback as a priority for the 2014 season.
Turner said that an early Draft pick does not necessarily make for the best player, but that the Vikings would be doing all they could to make the right choice.
"Quarterbacks come from a lot of different spots," he told the club's official website. "A third-rounder wins the Super Bowl and there's some pretty good players who weren't drafted high.
"I think everybody is in agreement: we're trying to add a young quarterback to the organisation. So, you just gotta make sure it's a good one wherever you get him."
The Vikings finished bottom of the NFC North with a 5-10-1 record in 2013.
