The Cleveland Browns have announced that they have appointed Kyle Shanahan as their new offensive coordinator.
Shanahan replaces Norv Turner, who is expected to join the Minnesota Vikings, as the Browns continue the reshuffle of their coaching staff following the appointment of Mike Pettine as head coach.
The 34-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the club after spending the last four seasons in the same role with the Washington Redskins.
Cleveland said in a statement on their official website: "Cleveland Browns coach Mike Pettine has named Kyle Shanahan the offensive coordinator."
Shanahan has been in the NFL in various positions since 2004.
