The New England Patriots have released 19 players, including wide receiver Josh Boyce and defensive end Jake Bequette, as part of their roster cutdown.
The Patriots selected Boyce with the 102nd pick in the 2013 Draft, but he struggled with injuries and learning the club's system in his rookie season and was surpassed on the depth chart.
Bequette was taken in the third round of the 2012 Draft and found playing time limited behind Chandler Jones and Rob Ninkovich, as he featured in just eight games over two seasons.
The Patriots also released Danny Aiken, Steve Beauharnais, Steve Maneri, Jerel Worthy, Braxton Cave, Ja'Gared Davis, Kanorris Davis, Jonas Gray, Daxton Swanson, Jon Halapio, Jeremy Gallon, Roy Finch, Shamiel Gary, Eathyn Manumaleuna, Chris Martin, Taylor McCuller and LT Tuipulotu.
