Philadelphia Eagles running back DeMarco Murray is reportedly expected to play against the New York Jets in their week three encounter on Sunday.
Murray has been nursing a hamstring injury which he sustained during Wednesday's practice and was held out of practice on Thursday, according to NFL.com.
The 27-year-old has had a difficult start to the season, rushing for just 11 yards on 21 carries in losses to the Atlanta Falcons and former team the Dallas Cowboys.
Murray appeared in 16 games for Dallas last season, the first time he had played an entire season without missing a game with injury.
