San Francisco 49ers have signed free agent wide receiver Austin Collie, according to a report.
The 27-year-old had been on several visits in the off-season and was reportedly close to sealing a deal to the 49ers in June, after an injury to Michael Crabtree left Jim Harbaugh's side short of depth at the wideout position.
Despite having concussion issues in the past, the 49ers have opted to secure a deal to sign the former Indianapolis Colts man, according to Fox Sports.
In four years in the NFL, Collie has recorded 173 receptions and has scored 16 touchdowns.
