The Washington Redskins have re-signed veteran defensive back Brandon Meriweather, according to a report.
The 30-year-old was allowed to test the free-agent market by the club following an inconsistent year in the secondary for Mike Shanahan's side.
However, new head coach Jay Gruden has brought Meriweather back into the fold at FedEx Field on a one-year deal, where he will battle it out for place on the roster, reports NBC.
The safety recorded 69 tackles, one sack and two interceptions in the 2013 season.
