Chicago Bulls coach Mike Woodson has apologised to fans as his side lost out to the New York Knicks 100-89 on Sunday night.
The Bulls were undone on the road as Tim Hardaway Jr went for 20 points off the bench, while J.R. Smith and Carmelo Anthony chipped in with 17 points each at Madison Square Garden.
"We didn't get it done and being the coach, I just apologise to the fans because they paid their hard-earned money to come see us play and we didn't come into this season expecting this," Woodson said after the game.
The loss still sees the Bulls sitting in second position in the Central Division, with a record of 47-33 for the season.
