Gregg Popovich has signed a multi-year contract extension to keep him in charge of the San Antonio Spurs.
The coach has won five NBA titles since taking up the role during the 1996-97 season, including defeating the Miami Heat in this year's Finals.
The Spurs have won 1,116 times during the 1,649 games that they have played since he has been at the team.
The current champions did not release the terms of the new contract.
