Fallon Sherrock has recorded a 10-5 victory over Mensur Suljovic to reach the Grand Slam quarter-finals.
The 27-year-old produced one of the most memorable moments in PDC history earlier this week as she hit a 170 checkout in an all-important leg to reach the last 16.
Having beaten Suljovic at the World Championships, Sherrock would have fancied her chances against the Austrian, but she found herself 2-0 adrift during the early stages.
However, a 124 checkout helped swing the pendulum in her favour, and Sherrock's superior finishing helped her establish a 9-4 advantage.
Although Suljovic remained in the contest with a 106 checkout of his own, Sherrock held her nerve in the next leg to book her spot in the last eight.
Peter Wright will stand in her way on Saturday, the former world champion edging out 2020 Grand Slam winner Jose de Sousa in a deciding leg.
Elsewhere, Michael van Gerwen withstood a late rally from Gary Anderson to prevail 10-8, while Michael Smith got the better of Joe Cullen by a 10-5 scoreline.
