Borussia Dortmund have reportedly stepped up their interest in signing Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford.
Having not represented the Red Devils since the middle of December, speculation is mounting that the academy graduate will soon be cutting short his stay at Old Trafford.
At the same as Ruben Amorim has been continuing to remain relatively tight-lipped over the situation, Rashford has been attracting admirers from a wide array of leagues.
Rashford's preference is said to be a switch to Barcelona, providing that the La Liga giants can resolve any financial and potential registration issues over the coming weeks.
Nevertheless, as per BILD, the most concrete offer from abroad, as it stands, could come from Dortmund.

Dortmund ready to steal march on rivals?
The report emphasises that Nuri Sahin is eager to secure fresh faces for his squad after dropping down to 10th position in the Bundesliga table.
Sitting in ninth place in the Champions League standings, there is still all to play for on that front, Rashford having the opportunity to return to European football's top table.
Dortmund officials have allegedly been in discussions regarding a loan proposal for the 27-year-old. United are likely to insist on an option to buy being included.
AC Milan are also known to be monitoring the situation with club advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic having already commented on talk of interest from the Serie A side.
From Rashford's perspective, he may be of the opinion that biding his time could bring more interest to the table, depending on where he sees his short and long-term future.

Dortmund the ideal club?
There is an argument that whoever is prepared to regularly use Rashford is the perfect option for him at this stage of his career.
However, with greater pressure arguably coming at Barcelona and AC Milan, where he would not be guaranteed starts, Dortmund could be the ideal choice.
Dortmund require an alternative to Donyell Malen, who has been sold to Aston Villa, and Rashford could theoretically seamlessly fit into Sahin's squad.
Although Jamie Gittens and Serhou Guirassy are certain starters when fit, Rashford could be used frequently on the right flank, even though that is not his ideal role.
