AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri and youth team boss Filippo Inzaghi denies that they were involved in a training ground bust-up on Thursday.

AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has denied reports of a bust-up between him and youth team boss Filippo Inzaghi at the club's training ground this week.

The duo reportedly clashed at the Vismara Centre on Thursday, when Allegri was alleged to have claimed that his Italian compatriot wants his job as the Rossoneri head coach.

"Nothing happened, absolutely nothing," Allegri told Milan Channel.

"There is no problem with Pippo, in fact there is great collaboration between the first team and the youth sector.

"There was an exchange of opinions without any offense or heavy words."

Inzaghi too has refuted problems between himself and Allegri.

"Allegri is right, it lasted for one minute," he said. "The youth team players didn't notice anything because nothing happened.

"We are Milan and we all love Milan so nothing like that would have occurred.

"Rather than writing about things that didn't happen, Milan need a helping hand."

Milan are away at Udinese in Serie A on Sunday.
