Former Arsenal striker Ian Wright believes that Arsene Wenger is still capable of leading the club.

Former Arsenal striker Ian Wright has insisted that Arsene Wenger is still the best man to manage the club.

The Frenchman's tenure at the Emirates Stadium came under the spotlight again on Tuesday night following the Gunners' surprise defeat to Bradford City in the quarter-finals of the Capital One Cup.

"I wouldn't like to see him go, I'd like to see him bring people in that he's going to listen to," Wright told Absolute Radio.

"I personally don't feel that [assistant manager] Steve Bould is getting his hands on the steering wheel in respect of the training as much as people think.

"There's a lot of things happening at Arsenal that I think that people have got the right to know what's going on."

Arsenal are currently in seventh place in the Premier League table.
