Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert has revealed that Scottish defender Alan Hutton could leave the club on loan this season.
Hutton, 27, has not played for the club's first-team this season after a reported move to away from Villa Park broke down in the transfer window.
"There could be a chance of him going out on loan. I've told him that if there is something there then he can look at it," Lambert told The Mirror.
"I've always been honest with him. I think that is the best way of being honest with people. He knows the situation."
Hutton joined Villa from Tottenham Hotspur in 2011.
