Barcelona have welcomed Andreas Christensen back into their squad for Saturday's La Liga clash with Getafe.
Christensen has not represented the Catalan giants since the opening matchday of the 2024-25 campaign due to a long-standing Achilles problem, but he has returned to the squad for the fixture with Getafe in the Spanish capital.
Barcelona are missing three players through injury for the contest, though, with Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Marc Bernal's long-term long-term absentees due to serious knee problems, while Inigo Martinez is out with a hamstring complaint.
Ansu Fati is also not in the squad, but the forward is not injured, and he is widely expected to leave Hansi Flick's team before the January transfer window closes for business.
Barcelona will enter this match off the back of a 5-1 success over Real Betis in the last-16 stage of the Copa del Rey, while they thumped Real Madrid 5-2 last weekend to lift the Spanish Super Cup in Saudi Arabia.

Christensen returns to Barcelona squad for Getafe clash
"We have worked hard with the medical team," Flick told reporters during his pre-match press conference. "Now we only have three injuries, and Iñigo won't be out for long. We also have Bernal and Ter Stegen. But Christensen is back and that's good news.
"However, we have a lot of games in the next few weeks, although we are only thinking about the next one. First we have to beat Getafe and then we'll think about Benfica."
When asked about Fati's absence, Flick said: "It's very important to be honest with the players. I have been honest with Ansu. We talked about several options and now it's his decision. If he wants to stay, that's fine, he's a La Masia player.
"This is professional football and performance counts. My job is to help him improve and that's what we want to do with all players. Ansu is very professional and always focused. I want to help him."
Barcelona have won all four of their matches at the start of 2025, but they have lost their last two in La Liga against Leganes and Atletico Madrid, and the team currently sits third in Spain's top flight, six points behind leaders Atletico Madrid.
