Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly contemplating whether to throw their hat into the ring to sign Barcelona winger Ansu Fati.
All things considered, Spurs are enduring a dismal Premier League campaign under Ange Postecoglou as they sit in 14th position in the standings.
While injuries have played their part, suffering 11 defeats in 21 matches has left the North Londoners at risk of failing to qualify for a European competition for 2025-26.
Postecoglou has acknowledged that club officials are working diligently to try to acquire new signings, particularly for the defence having been caught short by recent injuries.
Nevertheless, according to Fichajes, Spurs are open to the possibility of adding Fati to their squad before the February 3 deadline.

Spurs to take advantage of Fati plight?
The 22-year-old has been restricted to just one start and six substitute outings since returning to the Barcelona squad under Hansi Flick.
Fati has not made an appearance since the Copa del Rey tie at minnows Barbastro on January 4, emphasising where he finds himself in the pecking order.
Barcelona's financial issues means that they are not going to stand in the Spain international's way if a suitable offer arrives for his signature.
Despite initially wanting to work his way back into the Barcelona starting lineup, it has become clear that is going to be highly unlikely under Flick.
As it stands, it is unclear where Fati would fit into Postecoglou's squad, with Son Heung-min, Brennan Johnson, Dejan Kulusevski and Mikey Moore all realistically ahead of him. Furthermore, Richarlison has just made his return from injury.
Reports have previously indicated that there is no certainty that Timo Werner will remain at the club on loan from RB Leipzig.

Premier League competition?
The report adds that West Ham United are giving consideration to trying to add Fati to their squad now that Graham Potter has taken charge.
West Ham are already in the market for a new centre-forward, a consequence of injuries to Michail Antonio and Niclas Fullkrug, but a versatile attacker would also bolster their options.
Fati may have a point to prove in the Premier League having only made three starts and 16 substitute outings for Brighton & Hove Albion during 2023-24.
