Xavi Hernandez has claimed that Barcelona can still have a great season, despite Saturday's El Clasico defeat to Real Madrid.
Cristiano Ronaldo's goal earned Los Blancos a 2-1 win at the Nou Camp to move Madrid seven points clear of their rivals at the top of the La Liga table.
However, Xavi believes that success in the Copa del Rey and the Champions League can still make it a successful campaign for Barca.
"This is not a delicate moment, but one filled with hope," Xavi said. "We have in our hands the possibility of having a great season.
"We may have lost the Liga title, but we have won three titles this season. We also still have the Copa del Rey final and there is the possibility that we can reach the Champions League final."
The Catalan club will look to overturn a 1-0 deficit when they host Chelsea in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final on Tuesday.
