Luis Suarez returns to the Barcelona XI for their La Liga trip to Real Betis.

Barcelona have recalled striker Luis Suarez to their starting XI for this evening's visit to Real Betis, after benching him during their midweek cup clash with Espanyol.

The former Liverpool man will line up alongside Lionel Messi in the visitors' attack, resuming his lethal partnership with his fellow South American.

Paulinho and Andres Iniesta were not passed fit for the trip to Betis, meaning that Sergi Roberto and Andre Gomes will start in midfield.

Barca have also drafted in Ruben Semedo at right-back, but are without the services of the sidelined Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho.

Hosts Betis have recalled defenders Zouhair Feddal and Aissa Mandi following suspensions, and handed a start to Cristian Tello against his former club.

Joaquin and Sergio Leon will provide support for Tello in the final third, with Javi Garcia, Fabian Ruiz and Andres Guardado sitting in midfield.

Real Betis: Adan; Francis, Mandi, Feddal, Durmisi; Garcia, Fabian, Guardado; Tello, Leon, Joaquin
Subs: Castro, Boudebouz, Gimenez, Amat, Tosca, Narvaez, Camarasa

Barcelona: Ter Stegen; Semedo, Pique, Vermaelen, Alba; Busquets, Rakitic, Roberto, Gomes; Messi, Suarez
Subs: Cillessen, Paulinho, Vidal, Umtiti, Deulofeu, Digne, Alena
