Barcelona and Atletico Madrid reportedly remain locked in talks over a deal for Antoine Griezmann.
The France international made a name for himself at the Wanda Metropolitano before sealing a switch to Barca in 2019, bagging 133 goals and 50 assists in 257 games for Atletico across all competitions.
However, Griezmann has largely struggled to replicate that form at Barcelona, who have been tipped to offload the attacker amid their well-documented financial crisis.
According to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, the two clubs are in dialogue over a return for Griezmann, but Joao Felix is not involved in negotiations despite earlier conflicting reports.
The two clubs were thought to be discussing a swap deal involving Griezmann and Felix earlier on deadline day, but talks over such a proposal have supposedly broken down.
Griezmann boasts 35 goals and 17 assists in 102 games for Barcelona across all competitions, and his deal at Camp Nou does not expire until the summer of 2024.
