Borussia Dortmund retain Bundesliga title

Borussia Dortmund claim back-to-back Bundesliga titles after defeating Borussia Monchengladbach to open up an unassailable eight-point lead over Bayern Munich.

Borussia Dortmund have claimed back-to-back Bundesliga titles after defeating Borussia Monchengladbach 2-0 this afternoon.

Goals from Shinji Kagawa and Ivan Perisic gave BVB an unassailable eight-point lead over Bayern Munich with just two games of the season remaining.

Earlier on Saturday Franck Ribery had kept Bayern's slim hopes alive with a late winner against Werder Bremen but it proved in vain because of Dortmund's triumph.
