Toni Kroos hopes to recover by DFB-Pokal final time

Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos admits that he may not recover from his hip injury before the end of the season.

Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos has admitted that he may not recover from his injury in time for the DFB-Pokal final on June 1.

The 23-year-old is currently sidelined with ruptured muscle fibres in the hip area.

"The healing process is going well," Bayern's official website quotes Kroos as saying. "We're making progress step-by-step.

"I want to be back as soon as possible. I'm dreaming of the cup final, but it would be ridiculous to assume it."

Bayern will take on Stuttgart in the final.
