Report: Pepe Reina nears Napoli return

Bayern Munich goalkeeper Pepe Reina is close to a return to Serie A club Napoli, according to reports.

Bayern Munich goalkeeper Pepe Reina is close to returning to Napoli, according to reports.

Reina played for Napoli in the 2014-15 season, on loan from Liverpool, and joined Bayern last summer.

He deputised for Manuel Neuer last season, making just three appearances and Eurosport.com claims he is looking for a return to first-team football.

Reina made 394 appearances for Liverpool between 2004 and 2013, and was part of the squad that won the 2005 Champions League.
