Garry Monk will attempt to bring playmaker Pablo Hernandez to Birmingham City at the end of the season, according to a report.
The recently-appointed Blues boss, who got off the mark with his first win this weekend, has previously worked with the 32-year-old at Swansea City and Leeds United.
As part of a summer overhaul, The Mirror suggests that Monk is hoping to reunite with Hernandez at St Andrew's should he first succeed in keeping Birmingham in the Championship.
Former Spain international Hernandez has seven goals and the same number of assists in 36 appearances for Leeds this season.
Birmingham are also said to have eyed up Dundee goalkeeper Scott Bain, who is currently on loan with Celtic.
