New Bristol City manager Sean O'Driscoll reveals that he is eager to sign Kyle McFadzean.

Bristol City are still keen to sign Kyle McFadzean from Crawley, despite their recent change in manager.

Derek McIness had begun negotiations with the League One club regarding the availability of the centre-back, only to be sacked at the weekend.

However, new manager Sean O'Driscoll has confirmed that he would also like to add McFadzean to his squad at Ashton Gate.

"There was already something in place to bring Kyle to the football club and that has not changed," O'Driscoll told the Bristol Evening Post. "That process had already started before I came in and it is ongoing. I would like to get him through the door as quickly as possible."

McFadzean joined Crawley from Alfreton Town in 2010.
