Conference Premier roundup: Barnet remain ahead of Bristol Rovers

Sports Mole rounds up Easter Monday's action in the Conference Premier as the top three in the division all win to remain separated by three points.

Barnet have taken another step towards promotion to League Two with a 1-0 victory away at Dartford.

A first-half goal from Curtis Weston was enough for the Bees to remain a point ahead of Bristol Rovers, who eased to a 3-0 win away at Kidderminster Harriers with Ellis Harrison getting two of the goals.

Grimsby Town kept up the pressure in third spot with a 2-0 win away at Alfreton Town, but Macclesfield Town have dropped out of contention for an automatic promotion place after a late strike from Rob Evans earned Wrexham a 2-2 draw at Moss Rose.

Forest Green Rovers remain in fifth position after two goals from Jon Parkin helped the club to a 4-1 triumph away at Chester FC, but Eastleigh stay two points behind after beating Welling United by a 2-1 scoreline.

Two goals from Stefan Payne condemned Woking to a 2-1 defeat against Dover Athletic, while a last-gasp goal from Lois Maynard kept Halifax Town in contention for a playoff position in a 1-1 draw with Lincoln City.

At the bottom of the standings, Nuneaton Town failed to move closer to safety after losing 1-0 against Braintree Town, but already-relegated AFC Telford United eased to a 3-0 success away at Southport, who remain eight points clear of the drop zone.

Aldershot Town completed a 2-0 win at home to Torquay United, while Gateshead edged out Altrincham by a single goal in the North-East.
