Numerous bookmakers have installed Russell Slade as the new favourite to be appointed the next manager of Cardiff City.
A variety of bosses, including Tony Pulis, Neil Lennon and Paul Hartley, have been linked with the job, which has been available since the departure of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on Thursday afternoon.
However, current Leyton Orient boss Slade, who yesterday was a 33-1 shot for the post, is now the odds-on favourite with most bookies.
Slade is known to be under pressure as far as his current job with Orient is concerned, with some reports having claimed that he may be relieved of his duties should the Londoners lose to Scunthorpe United this afternoon.
