Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has said that London "deserves" to have a Champions League-winning team.
The Blues, who host defending champions Barcelona in the first leg of their semi-final clash this week, are aiming to become the first London-based club to win the competition this season.
"The Champions League is a tough competition to win," he said. "London deserves to have a team that's done it.
"I am sure over the course of time it will happen, but how much in the future is hard to know.
"There is enough in the London teams to do it. Arsenal have been to a final and we have been to a final so it is just a case of getting over that last hurdle."
Meanwhile, Chelsea take on Tottenham in the FA Cup this afternoon.
