Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte insists that the Blues face no easy games in the Premier League ahead of the trip to West Ham United.

Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte has insisted that the Blues do not face an easy period of games over Christmas and New Year.

Conte's side do not face a top-six team until January 3 when they make the short journey to Arsenal, with the schedule potentially giving the West Londoners a chance to close the gap on Manchester City and Manchester United.

However, ahead of Saturday's match with West Ham United, Conte has suggested that his side cannot afford to be complacent in their upcoming fixtures.

The 50-year-old told reporters: "It's a good period if we are able to win. Now we have to play two games away, against West Ham and then Huddersfield.

"West Ham is a good team. To play away against Huddersfield is not simple. United lost the game, Manchester City struggled a lot. This league is very tough, especially because there is a team that is doing an extraordinary path."

Chelsea currently sit in third place in the Premier League table, 11 points adrift of leaders City.
