Former Chelsea midfielder Dennis Wise has revealed that he is ready to return to football as a manager.
Wise has not managed a club since leaving Leeds United in 2008 to become an executive director at Newcastle United, a job from which he was sacked in April 2009.
The former England international said: "I spent a bit of time out of it - I needed to, especially after the things that happened at Newcastle. I took a step back.
"I really enjoyed the managerial side of the game.
"If something that I liked came up I would have a go, I really would."
Wise also had spells in charge at Millwall and Swindon Town.
