Chelsea have emerged as the frontrunner to secure the services of Porto striker Hulk, it has been reported.
Roberto Di Matteo's side stepped up their bid to land £35m-rated Brazilian following reports that he has held talks with four Premier League clubs, according to the Daily Mail.
The player's agent Theodoro Fonseca previously confirmed interest from Tottenham Hotspur, with Liverpool and Manchester Cty also rumoured to be interested parties.
Porto president Pinto da Costa previously demanded £85m for Hulk, but has since conceded that he may have to settle for half of that figure.
Chelsea are hoping to draft the player into their side as a left-sided attacker, alongside their other transfer target Edinson Cavani of Napoli.
