Antonio Rudiger is reportedly leaning towards an exit from Chelsea when his contract expires in the summer.
The 28-year-old has been hugely impressive since the arrival of Thomas Tuchel in January, helping the Blues win last season's Champions League and top the current Premier League standings.
However, with just over eight months remaining on his existing deal, the Germany international has the option to depart Stamford Bridge next year.
While it has previously been suggested that Rudiger would prefer to remain in West London, The Athletic claims that the player expects to be on the move.
The report says that Rudiger is 'resigned to leaving' as a result of little progress being made in contract negotiations with the club's hierarchy.
Chelsea will likely continue to push for a renewal over the next two months, aware that the versatile defender can hold formal discussions with foreign clubs in January.
Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are said to be among the teams who are monitoring the situation.
