Everton midfielder Beni Baningime has joined Wigan on loan until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old Everton academy graduate featured 12 times for the Toffees last season including appearances in the Premier League and Europa League.

He will join his brother Divin who is part of the Latics' development squad.

"Beni is a bright, energetic midfielder who was playing in the Premier League for Everton last season – he is a strong addition to our group," Wigan manager Paul Cook told the club's website.
