Getafe have secured the signing of former Benfica goalkeeper Julio Cesar until the end of the season.
The relegation-threatened La Liga outfit learned at the weekend that current first-choice Miguel Moya would miss the remainder of the season with a long-term injury.
Jordi Codina is expected to take the gloves until the summer, but Cesar has been signed on a free transfer to provide competition until the end of the current campaign.
Cesar, 27, has previously played in La Liga during a loan spell with Granada in the 2011-12 campaign.
The shot-stopper could make his debut against Granada at the weekend.
