Curtis Davies "disappointed" by lack of contract talks with Hull City

Curtis Davies admits that he is "disappointed" that Hull City are yet to open talks with him about a new contract.

Curtis Davies has insisted that he wants to open talks with Hull City about possibly signing a new deal at the KC Stadium.

At the end of the season, reports emerged claiming that the Premier League side would discuss fresh terms with the defender, who has two years remaining on his current deal.

However, Curtis has revealed that he is yet to sit down with the club's hierarchy, but insists that he will not force their hand.

"There's not been an offer at this stage," the Hull Daily Mail quotes Davies as saying. "I'd like to sit down and talk about a new deal but there's not been an offer put my way.

"That's a little bit disappointing but it's one of those things. I've got two years on my contract so maybe the club sees that as long enough."

The 29-year-old missed just one league game in the 2013-14 campaign and was voted Hull's Player of the Season.
