Hull City are reportedly ready to stop their pursuit of Sheffield United defender Harry Maguire.
The Tigers have already failed with two bids for the 21-year-old centre-back this summer.
United boss Nigel Clough recently claimed that the League One club's valuation of Maguire was "reasonable".
However, Hull are now threatening to withdraw their interest in the youngster, according to The Star.
Maguire revealed at the start of the month that he was keen to secure a move away from Sheffield United.
