Nottingham Forest have announced that Leicester City goalkeeper Ben Hamer has joined the club on a season-long loan.
The 27-year-old moved to the Foxes from Charlton Athletic last season, keeping three clean sheets in eight appearances in the Premier League.
Hamer, who spent last season behind Kasper Schmeichel and Mark Schwarzer at the King Power Stadium, will challenge Dorus de Vries to be the first-choice keeper for the Championship side.
Hamer came through Reading's academy, and had spells on loan with Crawley Town, Brentford and Exeter Town before switching to Charlton in 2011.
