Report: Liverpool to make £12m bid for Mohamed Salah

Mohamed Salah could soon be on his way to Liverpool as the club prepare a £12m bid, according to a report.

Liverpool are preparing a £12m bid for Basel player Mohamed Salah, a report suggests.

Brendan Rodgers wants to bring the Egyptian to Anfield and watched him play in Basel's 2-0 defeat to Schalke 04 in the Champions League, the Daily Mail claims.

Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with the player, but Liverpool have now moved ahead of their rivals in the race for his signature.

Salah has scored 17 goals in 26 internationals and is reportedly valued at £15m by his club.
