Barcelona youngster Adrian Bernabe 'to join Manchester City this summer'

Manchester City reportedly secure the services of Barcelona starlet Adrian Bernabe.

Barcelona youngster Adrian Bernabe will reportedly leave the club to join Manchester City this summer.

According to Sport, the 16-year-old will not renew his contract with the La Liga giants at the end of the season and will head to Manchester on a free transfer.

Barca are said to have been keen to retain the youngster and held contract talks with him in recent weeks, only for the negotiations to break down.

Arsenal allegedly made Bernabe an offer, but appear to have lost out to the Premier League champions.

Bernabe, who plays as an attacking midfielder, is a product of the Barca academy.
