Marseille keen on Manchester City defender Jason Denayer?

Marseille are understood to be interested in signing Jason Denayer on a season-long loan from Manchester City.

Marseille have reportedly expressed an interest in signing Jason Denayer on a season-long loan from Manchester City.

The defender's chances of first-team action with City were dealt a blow on Thursday by Nicolas Otamendi's arrival at the Etihad Stadium.

Denayer, 20, could now spend the remainder of the campaign in France with Marseille, according to Sky Sports News.

The Belgium international centre-back spent last season on loan with Scottish champions Celtic, scoring six goals in 44 appearances.
