Manchester United's backroom staff are reportedly worried that they will lose their jobs when David Moyes takes over from Sir Alex Ferguson.

Manchester United's backroom staff are reportedly concerned about their futures at Old Trafford following Sir Alex Ferguson's decision to retire as manager of the club.

There have been suggestions that assistant manager Mike Phelan and first-team coach Rene Meulensteen will be on their way out of the club when David Moyes begins his tenure from July 1.

Phelan and Meulensteen are yet to be informed of their positions with the Premier League champions, but they fear that they will not be wanted in the new regime, according to ESPN.

Recent reports have claimed that Moyes may take Phil Neville and David Weir with him to United.
