Manchester United's Jesse Lingard posts an image on his Instagram story of him celebrating a goal with his former West Ham United teammates.

Jesse Lingard has posted an image on his Instagram story of him celebrating a goal with his former West Ham United teammates, as the speculation surrounding the Englishman's future continues.

The attacker's contract with Manchester United is due to expire at the end of June, and it appears increasingly unlikely that he will be committing his future to the Red Devils.

Lingard excelled while on loan at West Ham in the second half of last season, scoring nine times and registering five assists in 16 appearances in all competitions.

David Moyes's side continue to be linked with the playmaker, who is expected to leave on a free transfer this summer rather than for a small fee during the January transfer window.

The 29-year-old has dropped a hint over his future by posting an image on his Instagram story of him celebrating a goal with his former teammates at the London Stadium.

Lingard has scored twice and registered one assist in 12 appearances for Man United this season, but he has not played in the Premier League since the start of December.
